This Contributor Policy explains the rules that apply when any person, business, contractor, freelancer, guest writer, recipe developer, photographer, video creator, reviewer, commenter, community member, partner, sponsor, or other third party submits, provides, uploads, sends, licenses, comments on, contributes to, or otherwise supplies material to RecipeWanted.com.
RecipeWanted.com is owned and operated by QHE UK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. In this Policy, “RecipeWanted”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means QHE UK LTD and RecipeWanted.com.
This Policy applies to content and material submitted through RecipeWanted.com, associated subdomains, contact forms, comments, reviews, ratings, email submissions, guest post submissions, recipe submissions, product reviews, social media messages, sponsored submissions, freelance work, partner work, future contributor portals, future school or meal-planning systems, future printable resource systems, and any other method used to provide material to RecipeWanted.
For the purposes of this Policy, a “Contribution” means any content, material, file, data, suggestion, comment, review, recipe, article, photograph, video, graphic, PDF, template, idea, feedback, product recommendation, link, or other material submitted to us or posted through our Services.
By submitting a Contribution, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not submit Contributions to RecipeWanted.
RecipeWanted is built as a structured cooking, recipe, food education, and kitchen resource platform. The purpose of this Policy is to protect readers, users, contributors, QHE UK LTD, site quality, food safety standards, intellectual property rights, legal compliance, editorial standards, commercial integrity, and future RecipeWanted products or services.
Contributions must be lawful, original, accurate where possible, safe, respectful, properly licensed, and suitable for publication on a public cooking and food education platform. This Policy is intended to apply broadly across current and future RecipeWanted features, including recipes, blogs, education pages, product pages, comments, reviews, digital downloads, printable resources, sponsored content, community features, and user-generated content.
This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclosure Policy, Refund Policy, any acceptable use rules, product-specific terms, contributor agreements, freelance agreements, sponsorship agreements, partnership agreements, and any future community guidelines.
If there is a conflict between this Policy and a written contract signed by QHE UK LTD, the signed contract will apply to the extent of that conflict. If there is no separate written agreement, this Policy applies in full.
This Policy applies to anyone who submits or provides content to RecipeWanted. This includes casual site users, commenters, recipe reviewers, guest contributors, freelance writers, recipe developers, photographers, videographers, food stylists, editors, researchers, contractors, agencies, brand partners, sponsors, affiliate partners, educational partners, school or meal-planning contributors, product reviewers, newsletter respondents, and social media users who submit content for possible use by RecipeWanted.
This Policy applies whether the Contribution is paid, unpaid, commissioned, unsolicited, published, unpublished, edited, rejected, submitted privately, submitted publicly, submitted through a third-party platform, submitted by email, submitted through a form, or submitted through a comment or upload feature.
Submitting a Contribution does not guarantee publication. We may accept, reject, edit, shorten, correct, format, delay, remove, unpublish, republish, or decline future Contributions at our discretion.
We may also add disclaimers, internal links, external source links, affiliate disclosures, sponsored disclosures, safety notes, editorial notes, formatting changes, or legal wording where needed. We may remove unsafe claims, unsupported claims, promotional material, duplicate content, unlawful content, personal data, misleading statements, or anything that creates legal, safety, editorial, or commercial risk.
We are not required to explain why a Contribution is accepted, rejected, edited, removed, unpublished, or not used.
RecipeWanted retains full editorial control over all content published on the site. This includes control over headlines, titles, recipe names, introductions, ingredients, methods, cooking notes, food safety notes, nutritional wording, allergy wording, images, captions, internal links, external links, affiliate links, sponsored disclosures, metadata, SEO titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, category placement, tags, formatting, page structure, content updates, and content removal.
We may edit Contributions to meet RecipeWanted standards for accuracy, readability, safety, clarity, brand tone, professional cooking language, search quality, legal compliance, accessibility, international usability, performance, mobile readability, future-proofing, and commercial safety.
You are responsible for every Contribution you submit. By submitting a Contribution, you confirm that you have the legal right to submit it, that it is original or properly licensed, that it does not infringe third-party rights, and that it does not contain unlawful, unsafe, false, misleading, confidential, malicious, or harmful material.
You also confirm that your Contribution does not breach privacy law, data protection law, advertising law, food safety law, consumer protection law, intellectual property law, platform rules, contractual duties, or any other legal obligation that applies to you or the Contribution.
You remain responsible for any claims, disputes, losses, complaints, takedown requests, or legal issues arising from your Contribution.
All Contributions must be original unless you clearly identify and provide proof of the licence, permission, public domain status, or lawful basis that allows you to submit the material.
You must not submit copied recipes, copied blog posts, copied website content, copied product descriptions, copied education pages, copied conversion charts, copied photographs, copied videos, copied graphics, copied PDFs, copied social media posts, scraped content, stolen content, AI-generated rewrites of copyrighted material, content taken from paid courses, content copied from subscription platforms, content copied from private communities, content copied from competitors, or content copied from publishers without permission.
Recipe ideas, ingredient combinations, and general cooking concepts may not always be protected by copyright, but written expression, photography, video, layout, method wording, educational structure, database structure, and creative presentation can be protected. You must not copy protected material.
You must tell us if any Contribution was created, edited, expanded, rewritten, translated, summarised, researched, or assisted using artificial intelligence tools. AI-assisted Contributions must still comply with this Policy and all applicable laws.
You must not submit AI-generated content that copies protected third-party material, invents facts, invents sources, invents nutritional data, invents medical claims, invents legal claims, invents food safety rules, invents product claims, invents regional history, invents certification claims, uses misleading author credentials, misrepresents human expertise, contains unsafe cooking instructions, contains unverified allergen guidance, contains hallucinated citations, contains fabricated quotes, contains confidential data, or contains low-value spam content.
We may reject, edit, rewrite, label, or remove AI-assisted content at our discretion.
By submitting a Contribution, you grant QHE UK LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to use, host, store, copy, edit, format, adapt, modify, publish, display, distribute, promote, translate, excerpt, reproduce, archive, index, optimise, republish, and create derivative works from your Contribution.
This licence allows us to use Contributions on RecipeWanted.com, in newsletters, in social media, in search snippets, in marketing, in internal documentation, in future RecipeWanted services, and in digital products where the nature of the submission and any separate agreement permits it.
If a separate written contributor agreement gives different rights, that agreement will apply.
Where legally permitted, you waive any moral rights or similar rights that would prevent us from editing, adapting, formatting, updating, combining, excerpting, or republishing your Contribution.
Where moral rights cannot legally be waived, you agree not to assert them in a way that prevents ordinary editorial, technical, commercial, safety, legal, or formatting use of the Contribution, unless required by law.
We may choose whether or not to provide contributor attribution. Attribution may include a name, username, business name, website, social handle, contributor bio, author profile, or no attribution.
We may remove or change attribution where necessary for safety, privacy, legal compliance, editorial consistency, content updates, brand protection, contributor misconduct, termination of a contributor relationship, formatting reasons, technical reasons, or site restructuring.
Submitting a Contribution does not guarantee named authorship, a backlink, a profile page, a promotional mention, or continued attribution.
Submitting a Contribution does not create an employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise relationship, representative authority, ownership interest in RecipeWanted, right to payment, right to commissions, right to future work, or right to editorial control.
Unless separately agreed in writing, Contributors are independent parties and have no authority to act on behalf of QHE UK LTD.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, Contributions are submitted voluntarily and without payment. We do not owe payment for comments, reviews, suggestions, feedback, recipe ideas, corrections, unsolicited submissions, social media messages, product ideas, business suggestions, feature requests, community contributions, or general user submissions.
Paid work must be agreed in writing before the Contribution is created or submitted. We are not responsible for paying for unsolicited work, speculative submissions, or material sent without a written agreement.
You must not submit confidential information unless we have specifically agreed to receive it. You must not submit trade secrets, private business information, private recipes owned by an employer, internal documents, private school or catering documentation, private customer data, private health information, private staff information, unpublished third-party content, confidential brand materials, information protected by a non-disclosure agreement, or information you do not have authority to disclose.
If you submit confidential information without permission, we are not responsible for protecting it unless required by law.
You must not submit personal data about another person unless you have a lawful basis and any required consent. This includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, photos of identifiable people, health details, dietary restrictions linked to an identifiable person, school information linked to children, child images, location data, order details, private messages, employment details, medical information, allergy information linked to a named person, and any other identifiable information.
If you submit personal data, you confirm that you have all rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases required under applicable data protection laws. This may include, where applicable, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, EU GDPR, PECR, CCPA / CPRA, state privacy laws, Canadian privacy laws, Australian privacy laws, New Zealand privacy laws, and other regional privacy or data protection laws.
We may remove personal data from Contributions without notice.
Contributions must not include personal data, images, videos, school details, health details, allergy details, or identifiable information relating to children or minors unless all required legal permissions and safeguards are in place.
You must not submit photos of children without valid permission, school meal records linked to identifiable children, allergy details linked to identifiable children, health details of minors, names of children, school class details, location details that identify children, or any content that exploits, targets, profiles, or endangers minors.
We may reject or remove any Contribution involving minors at our discretion.
Because RecipeWanted is a cooking platform, all food-related Contributions must be responsible and safety-aware. You must not submit content that encourages unsafe food storage, reheating, cooling, freezing, defrosting, canning, fermentation, preservation, raw meat handling, raw seafood handling, egg handling, cross-contamination practices, cooking temperatures, pressure cooker use, oil frying, allergen handling, use of expired food, school food handling, institutional food practices, or food preparation for vulnerable groups.
Food safety Contributions should be conservative, practical, clear, and suitable for general public use. Where relevant, users should be encouraged to check official guidance from local food safety authorities, packaging, manufacturers, qualified professionals, or relevant regulators.
Allergy-related Contributions must be handled carefully. You must not submit content that guarantees a recipe is safe for all allergy sufferers, guarantees absence of cross-contamination, claims “allergy safe” without qualification, claims “school safe” without verification, suggests people ignore medical advice, suggests allergens are harmless in small amounts, encourages risky substitutions, mislabels allergen-free status, confuses intolerance with allergy, provides medical diagnosis, provides emergency allergy advice, or contradicts product labelling.
If discussing allergy-aware recipes, you must use cautious wording and recognise that ingredient labels, manufacturing processes, kitchens, storage, and cross-contamination risks vary. RecipeWanted may edit allergy wording to reduce legal and safety risk.
Contributions must not provide medical advice, nutritional therapy, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or disease-prevention claims. You must not claim that a recipe, ingredient, diet, supplement, meal plan, or product cures disease, treats disease, prevents disease, reverses illness, guarantees weight loss, guarantees health outcomes, controls medical conditions, is suitable for all diabetics, is suitable for all heart patients, is suitable during pregnancy unless medically verified, is suitable for infants or vulnerable groups without appropriate authority, or replaces professional medical advice.
Nutrition-related content must be general, informational, and non-medical. Nutritional values must be clearly treated as estimates unless calculated and verified by qualified systems or professionals.
Contributions relating to schools, nurseries, care homes, hospitals, institutions, or catering environments must not claim regulatory compliance unless this has been specifically verified by qualified professionals and approved by us in writing.
You must not claim that content complies with UK School Food Standards, EU school or catering rules, U.S. school nutrition rules, state school meal regulations, care home catering standards, hospital food standards, public procurement rules, local authority rules, or any national or regional institutional catering law unless properly verified and expressly approved.
School and institutional content must be informational only unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate approved legal or professional framework.
Some food topics carry higher risk and may be rejected or heavily edited. This includes home canning, vacuum packing, sous vide safety, fermentation, curing, smoking, dehydration, raw milk, raw seafood, raw eggs, wild mushrooms, foraging, infant feeding, pregnancy nutrition, clinical diets, food for immunocompromised people, food for care homes, food for schools, food preservation for sale, and commercial catering compliance.
You must not submit high-risk guidance unless it is accurate, conservative, properly sourced, clearly limited, and suitable for general public use. We may remove or rewrite high-risk material even if submitted in good faith.
Contributions must not present legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, food compliance, business compliance, advertising compliance, labelling compliance, or public health compliance advice unless you are qualified and authorised to provide it, and we have agreed in writing.
You must not claim that RecipeWanted content satisfies any legal requirement unless we have explicitly approved that claim. This applies globally, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Asia, Africa, South America, and any other jurisdiction where users may access the site.
Users remain responsible for checking local laws, local regulators, product labels, professional guidance, and official requirements in their own jurisdiction.
If you submit content connected to a brand, product, sponsor, affiliate relationship, gifted product, paid placement, commission, discount, referral fee, employment relationship, ownership interest, agency relationship, or other commercial connection, you must disclose this clearly to us before submission.
Sponsored or commercial Contributions must comply with applicable advertising disclosure rules, including where relevant the UK CAP Code, ASA guidance, CMA guidance, FTC endorsement guidance, EU unfair commercial practices rules, consumer protection laws, platform disclosure rules, and any relevant local advertising regulations.
We may add, edit, or remove disclosures at our discretion.
Contributions must not make false, exaggerated, or unsupported product claims. You must not claim that a product is the best, guaranteed, officially approved, medically recommended, required for safety, suitable for everyone, certified, eco-friendly, non-toxic, BPA-free, organic, sustainable, ethical, locally sourced, allergen-free, child-safe, professional-grade, commercial-grade, or legally compliant unless accurate evidence is provided and approved.
Product prices, availability, delivery times, warranties, seller terms, and product descriptions can change. Product-related Contributions must not mislead users. We may remove product claims, edit product wording, apply affiliate disclosures, add sponsored attributes, or convert product links into affiliate links where allowed by law and our policies.
Environmental claims must be accurate, specific, and evidence-based. You must not submit vague or unsupported claims such as eco-friendly, green, zero waste, carbon neutral, sustainable, plastic-free, ethical, climate positive, recyclable, compostable, biodegradable, or better for the planet unless the claim is clear, qualified, verifiable, and not misleading.
Environmental Contributions may be edited to reduce greenwashing risk, comply with advertising standards, or make claims more precise.
You must not submit material that infringes copyright, trade marks, design rights, database rights, moral rights, image rights, personality rights, confidential information, trade secrets, passing off rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, platform licence terms, or any other third-party rights.
This includes material copied from cookbooks, food magazines, recipe websites, blogs, YouTube videos, TikTok videos, Instagram captions, Pinterest posts, paid courses, subscription newsletters, competitor websites, brand websites, retailer product pages, academic sources, government documents beyond lawful quotation limits, private documents, or AI tools prompted with restricted content.
You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted material is lawful to use.
If you submit photos or videos, you confirm that you own them or have permission to submit them, they do not infringe third-party rights, they do not contain unauthorised people, they do not contain protected brand material unless allowed, they do not contain private property shown unlawfully, they do not contain confidential workplace or school environments, they do not misrepresent the recipe or product, they are not stolen or scraped, and they do not contain unsafe food handling unless clearly educational and corrected.
We may crop, resize, compress, edit, caption, watermark, optimise, reformat, or remove images and videos.
You must not submit images or videos that materially mislead users. This includes AI-generated food images presented as real, edited food images that misrepresent the result, stock images presented as your own, images of a different dish, fake before-and-after images, misleading product images, edited screenshots, false proof of results, deepfakes, and synthetic people presented as real contributors.
If media is AI-generated, stock, edited, sponsored, staged, or illustrative, you must disclose that to us.
Comments, reviews, and ratings must be lawful, honest, relevant, and respectful. You must not post spam, harassment, hate speech, threats, defamation, false claims, impersonation, malicious links, affiliate spam, commercial promotion without permission, personal data, medical advice, legal advice, unsafe cooking advice, allergy guarantees, fake reviews, review manipulation, coordinated ratings, competitor sabotage, off-topic political arguments, obscene content, or abusive content.
We may moderate, edit, hide, delete, or refuse comments and reviews at our discretion.
You must not submit content that makes false or unsupported allegations about any person, business, product, restaurant, school, supplier, manufacturer, public body, or organisation.
You must not submit false accusations, unverified claims of criminal conduct, unverified food poisoning claims, unverified hygiene allegations, malicious product claims, reputation-damaging speculation, private disputes, harassment campaigns, or targeted abuse.
We may remove any Contribution that creates defamation or reputational risk.
You must not submit Contributions containing illegal material, fraud, scams, malware, phishing, spam, hate speech, harassment, threats, violence, exploitation, sexual content, child exploitation, terrorism support, extremist material, discriminatory content, doxxing, private personal data, impersonation, stolen content, dangerous instructions, unsafe food practices, medical misinformation, legal misinformation, financial scams, gambling promotion, drug promotion, weapon promotion, counterfeit goods, misleading advertising, manipulated reviews, hidden sponsorship, or any content that breaches applicable law.
Contributions must not attack, demean, exclude, or harass people based on race, colour, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, pregnancy, marital status, socioeconomic status, health status, dietary needs, body size, cultural food traditions, regional identity, or any protected or sensitive characteristic.
Food culture may be discussed respectfully, but Contributions must not mock, stereotype, misrepresent, or exploit communities.
RecipeWanted may publish global recipes, food history, regional cooking guidance, and cultural food education. Contributors must take care not to invent origins, misrepresent traditions, claim one “authentic” version without context, erase regional variation, use offensive terminology, use stereotypes, overstate historical certainty, copy cultural explanations from other sources, romanticise food traditions, distort food traditions, misattribute dishes to the wrong region, or use protected regional names incorrectly.
Where origin, terminology, or regional identity is uncertain, Contributors should use cautious wording and acknowledge variation.
Food history Contributions must be careful and evidence-aware. You must not present uncertain origin stories as fact. Where there are competing claims, regional disputes, unclear histories, or modern adaptations, Contributions should make that uncertainty clear.
We may edit history sections to avoid unsupported claims, cultural misrepresentation, or misleading certainty.
Contributions should be accurate, practical, and verifiable where appropriate. You may be asked to provide sources for food safety claims, storage times, cooking temperatures, nutrition claims, historical claims, legal claims, product claims, environmental claims, school food claims, allergy claims, commercial claims, scientific claims, or any statement that creates legal or safety risk.
Sources should be reputable and appropriate, such as government agencies, food safety authorities, academic institutions, peer-reviewed research, recognised professional organisations, manufacturer documentation, product labels, official standards, or reputable culinary references.
We may reject unsupported claims.
Unless we explicitly state otherwise, Contributions published on RecipeWanted are informational only. Contributions must not be framed as medical advice, dietetic advice, nutritional therapy, allergy advice, legal advice, regulatory advice, financial advice, professional catering compliance advice, school food compliance advice, veterinary advice, or emergency advice.
Users must seek qualified professionals where needed.
Recipe Contributions should include clear, practical information where relevant, including recipe title, servings, prep time, cook time, rest time, ingredients, ingredient quantities, preparation states, equipment, step-by-step method, cooking temperatures where needed, observable doneness cues, storage notes, reheating notes, freezing notes, allergen considerations, substitution notes, and serving suggestions.
Recipes must not rely on vague or unsafe instructions such as “cook until done”, “use some”, “add a bit”, “heat until safe”, “store until needed”, “reheat properly”, “use any leftovers whenever”, or “ignore label instructions”.
We may edit recipes for clarity, structure, food safety, consistency, and user usefulness.
Substitution Contributions must consider texture, moisture, fat content, protein structure, starch behaviour, acidity, sweetness, salt level, leavening, binding, emulsification, cooking time, allergen risk, cultural identity, and food safety.
You must not suggest substitutions that are unsafe, misleading, structurally unsuitable, culturally misleading, or likely to ruin the recipe without warning. Allergy substitutions must be especially cautious and must not imply guaranteed safety.
Contributions about storage, reheating, freezing, cooling, defrosting, or leftovers must be conservative and safety-aware. You must not encourage users to leave cooked food out for unsafe periods, cool large batches improperly, reheat rice carelessly, refreeze unsafe foods, ignore smell or texture warnings, use unsafe containers, store hot food incorrectly, reheat food repeatedly without caution, rely only on appearance for safety, or ignore official food safety advice.
Where local food safety rules differ, official local guidance should be checked.
If you submit nutritional information, you must make clear whether it is estimated, calculated by software, based on product labels, based on generic ingredients, or verified by a qualified professional.
You must not present estimates as exact. Nutrition can vary due to brand choice, ingredient size, cooking loss, portion size, substitutions, draining, trimming, sauce retention, preparation method, and serving interpretation.
We may remove, qualify, or rewrite nutritional information.
Contributions should support accessible use where possible. This includes clear language, readable structure, descriptive image captions where relevant, avoiding text embedded only in images, avoiding unnecessary jargon, avoiding colour-only meaning, avoiding excessive emojis or decorative symbols, and providing useful context for videos or visuals where needed.
We may edit Contributions to improve accessibility, readability, and usability.
You must not submit Contributions designed primarily to manipulate search rankings, affiliate income, reviews, or user behaviour. Prohibited behaviour includes keyword stuffing, hidden text, link spam, doorway content, duplicate mass submissions, scraped content, fake reviews, review swapping, artificial ratings, misleading titles, cloaking, automated commenting, bot submissions, spam backlinks, thin AI-generated posts, affiliate stuffing, and competitor attacks.
We may remove such content and block future submissions.
Links may be removed, edited, nofollowed, sponsored-tagged, redirected, or rejected. You must not submit links to malware, spam, adult content, illegal products, unsafe products, counterfeit goods, misleading products, scam websites, unverified supplements, medical claims, extremist content, pirated material, paywalled content copied without permission, affiliate links without disclosure, competitor spam, or data harvesting pages.
We may convert, remove, or modify links at our discretion.
Product or recipe reviews must reflect genuine experience. You must not submit reviews that are fake, paid without disclosure, generated in bulk, written by competitors, written by brand owners without disclosure, written by employees without disclosure, copied from other platforms, manipulated by incentives, misleading, defamatory, or unrelated to the product or recipe.
We may remove reviews that appear suspicious, promotional, abusive, unreliable, or legally risky.
RecipeWanted can be accessed globally. Contributors are responsible for ensuring their Contributions comply with laws that apply to them, their location, the content, and the intended audience where relevant.
This may include laws relating to copyright, trade marks, privacy, data protection, consumer protection, advertising, food safety, product claims, environmental claims, defamation, public health, children’s data, online safety, ecommerce, digital content, accessibility, and platform rules.
Because laws vary by jurisdiction, no Contribution should claim universal legal compliance unless verified by qualified counsel and approved by us in writing.
Food rules, labelling rules, school meal rules, health claims, nutrition claims, allergen rules, advertising rules, consumer laws, and ecommerce rules differ between countries and regions.
Contributions must not assume that guidance suitable in one country applies everywhere. Where relevant, Contributions should advise users to check local guidance, product packaging, manufacturer instructions, official food safety advice, local school or catering rules, qualified professionals, and requirements in their own jurisdiction.
We may request evidence to verify a Contribution. This may include source links, original files, licences, model releases, property releases, product documentation, recipe testing notes, nutritional calculation methods, food safety sources, brand permission, contributor identity, proof of ownership, or disclosure of commercial relationships.
If evidence is not provided, we may reject, edit, or remove the Contribution.
We may edit or remove Contributions at any time, including after publication. Reasons may include legal risk, safety risk, accuracy issues, outdated information, broken links, policy changes, brand changes, SEO quality, duplicate content, copyright complaints, privacy complaints, contributor disputes, food safety concerns, allergen concerns, regulatory concerns, spam, abuse, technical issues, commercial conflicts, editorial updates, and user complaints.
We are not required to preserve, return, or continue displaying Contributions.
Published Contributions may be updated over time. Updates may include correcting errors, changing wording, adding disclaimers, improving food safety notes, updating links, adding internal links, adding affiliate links, changing images, removing outdated claims, improving structure, adding schema, changing categories, adding editorial context, merging with other content, or deleting obsolete content.
A Contributor does not have the right to prevent updates unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
You may request removal of a Contribution by contacting us. We will review removal requests but are not automatically required to remove content unless legally required.
We may retain content where necessary for legal records, contract compliance, dispute handling, security, fraud prevention, editorial archives, backups, business records, legitimate interests, or defence of legal claims.
If personal data is involved, our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law will apply.
If you believe a Contribution infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us with your name, contact details, the content URL, the work allegedly infringed, proof of ownership or authority, a clear explanation of the issue, and any relevant supporting evidence.
We may remove, disable, or review content while investigating. False, abusive, or incomplete complaints may be rejected.
By submitting a Contribution, you warrant that you are legally able to agree to this Policy, you own or control the necessary rights, the Contribution is lawful, the Contribution is not defamatory, the Contribution is not misleading, the Contribution is not harmful, the Contribution is not copied unlawfully, the Contribution does not breach privacy rights, the Contribution does not breach confidentiality, the Contribution does not contain malware, the Contribution does not contain undisclosed advertising, the Contribution does not breach food safety obligations, the Contribution does not breach applicable laws, and the Contribution complies with this Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless QHE UK LTD, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, partners, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your Contribution, your breach of this Policy, your breach of law, your breach of third-party rights, copyright infringement, trade mark infringement, privacy violations, defamation, misleading claims, food safety issues caused by your submitted material, undisclosed sponsorship, false product claims, unsafe instructions, misuse of the Services, or any dispute connected to your Contribution.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QHE UK LTD is not liable for rejected Contributions, edited Contributions, removed Contributions, loss of attribution, loss of exposure, loss of traffic, loss of income, loss of business opportunity, comment moderation decisions, delay in publication, technical issues, backups or archive deletion, third-party misuse of published content, user reliance on contributor content, errors in user-submitted content, or disputes between Contributors and third parties.
Nothing in this Policy excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We may enforce this Policy by editing content, rejecting submissions, removing content, blocking comments, suspending accounts, closing accounts, refusing future submissions, reporting unlawful content, cooperating with authorities where legally required, taking legal action, or terminating contributor relationships.
We may act without notice where necessary.
You must not submit files, links, scripts, code, or embedded content that could harm the site, users, systems, or third parties.
You must not attempt to upload malware, inject scripts, exploit forms, bypass moderation, access private systems, scrape protected data, attack the site, misuse APIs, interfere with WooCommerce, interfere with user accounts, interfere with payment systems, or interfere with analytics or affiliate systems.
If you submit content through social media, email platforms, video platforms, forms, plugins, or other third-party systems, you must also follow the rules of those platforms.
We are not responsible for third-party platform terms, moderation, data handling, outages, or disputes.
Contributions may remain in backups, caches, logs, archives, analytics systems, screenshots, search indexes, email records, or legal records after removal from the public site.
We are not responsible for copies made by search engines, web archives, users, third-party platforms, external websites, or other third parties.
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes may reflect new laws, new site features, new product types, new community tools, new ecommerce features, new contributor systems, new AI tools, new moderation standards, new monetisation systems, or operational requirements.
The updated Policy will apply from the date it is posted unless stated otherwise. Continued submission of Contributions after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where legally permitted, disputes relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Users and Contributors outside the United Kingdom are responsible for complying with any local laws that apply to them.
