RecipeWanted Resources
Calculators, planners, working aids & practical buying guidance
Convert measurements, scale a recipe, build an allergen or storage record, plan the week, explore food-and-wine pairings, or work out which kitchen equipment is genuinely useful before buying it.
Find the right tool
Choose a specific kitchen task and RecipeWanted will point to the existing tool built for that job. This finder is deterministic, runs in the browser and does not send the selection anywhere.
My Resources on this device
Pin a useful Resource or save working data in one of the 12 tools that currently support browser-local drafts. On later visits, this section gives you a direct route back without creating an account or a RecipeWanted server profile.
Pin a tool from its Quick Start area, or save working data with an existing Save on This Device control. When you return to this hub, choose Check this device to reveal those browser-local shortcuts.
Browser-local continuity: My Resources does not access its pin/saved-work keys until you choose Check this device on the hub or Pin this tool on a tool page. Pinning stores only selected Resource route keys. Saved drafts remain under the existing tool-specific save/delete controls. No automatic recent-history log, last-used timestamp, email reminder, notification, cross-device sync or server-side visitor profile is created by V13.8. Site-level privacy/CMP rules remain the wider authority for storage/access technologies.
How the live tools work together
RecipeWanted Resources is being built as one connected cooking workflow, not a collection of unrelated calculators. The links below include only tools that are live now; future tools stay out of the visitor interface until their own release has been reviewed and proved.
Start with ingredients already available and rank existing published RecipeWanted recipes by transparent ingredient coverage before buying extra food or inventing a new dish.
When a chosen recipe is missing or unsuitable on one ingredient, compare context-specific starting substitutes and trade-offs before changing the recipe.
Convert the measurement system or change the tested yield before cooking.
Use baker’s percentages to work from total flour, final dough mass, or exact pizza-ball/loaf targets while keeping preferment flour and water inside the total formula.
Use prices you actually pay to separate ingredient usage cost from whole-pack cash outlay and calculate cost per serving or batch unit.
Give meals, leftovers, freezer food and use-first items a deliberate place.
When cooking for a group, turn real attendance plus visible participation, portion, known-yield, contingency and package assumptions into per-item quantities or exact recipe scale factors before buying or scheduling.
After recipes and quantities are chosen, consolidate compatible ingredient requirements, remove explicit pantry items and keep unresolved unit conflicts visible before purchasing.
Once recipes, quantities and durations are known, build a dependency-aware start/finish timeline, expose the critical path, and prevent explicitly hands-on work from overlapping when using the one-cook guard.
Use structured records where allergen or storage uncertainty must stay visible instead of being guessed.
Prioritise kitchen or baking equipment only after identifying the workload, constraint or consistency problem.
When useful, compare a deterministic wine-style direction for the finished dish.
When the question is composition rather than recipe suitability, search official food-data records, compare reported values on the same reference basis and keep provider/data-type provenance visible.
Explore official food-system observances and carefully scoped food-culture dates across six inhabited continents, then verify the source/scope before turning a date into recipes, education, Food News or an event plan.
Architecture rule: a planned Resource never appears here until it has a real managed route, complete method/safety/SEO/frontend contracts, human review and current-version Browser Proof. No placeholder or “coming soon” link is emitted.

The pillar is designed so the tool or decision support remains useful even when there is no commercial link to click.
Calculator and planner entries are normally processed in your browser; optional local saving keeps a copy on that device. Food Data lookups send the search term to the configured data provider. Check each tool’s data notice before entering information. Normal site analytics/cookies may still operate according to RecipeWanted’s privacy and consent settings.
Tools organise information and calculations; they do not override package instructions, competent-authority guidance, appliance instructions or professional advice where those are required.
Affiliate, sponsored or partner relationships are labelled. They do not change calculator logic, pairing order, safety checks or whether a product is described as necessary.
Each mature tool page links to the external authorities or specialist references relevant to that subject, with machine-readable citations added where appropriate.
Trust, safety & accountability
RecipeWanted separates calculation/organisation from legal, medical, safety and commercial authority. When a decision depends on a product label, competent authority, manufacturer, professional advice or organisation-specific procedure, that source remains more authoritative than a generic browser tool.

Search Recipes →Legal, privacy & fair-use notice
RecipeWanted Resources provides general cooking information, deterministic calculations, planning aids and reference tools. It is not legal, medical, dietetic, allergy, regulatory or other professional advice, and it does not replace product labels, manufacturer instructions, competent-authority guidance or qualified professional advice where those are needed.
Each tool explains how it handles your entries. This Resources analytics dataset does not retain recipe or ingredient names, pantry lists, allergy, dietary or health information, other free text, exact quantities, visitor/session/account IDs, IP addresses, user-agent strings or referrer URLs.
This Resources statistics layer is currently enabled and records only allowlisted aggregate interaction and coarse workflow/build-shape counters. Daily aggregate buckets are retained for up to 730 days. Aggregate results are for RecipeWanted/QHE internal RecipeWanted service improvement only; they are not sold or used by this layer for advertising measurement, individual profiling or cross-site tracking.
Any reasonable fair-use or availability rules for free tools are separate from privacy law. Access is not conditional on participating in Resources analytics, and “fair use” is not treated as consent or as a legal basis for collecting personal data. On instrumented Resources pages, the usage-statistics panel provides a simple, free objection control.
First-party usage statistics
Resources records aggregate usage statistics such as qualified tool views, whether a working surface is started, route-level value actions, coarse read depth, broad workflow/build-shape buckets and which non-commercial RecipeWanted handoffs are used. Build-shape signals are deliberately coarse (for example, a small/medium/large row-count bucket or a selected calculator mode): RecipeWanted does not send the recipe name, ingredient list, pantry items, allergen/dietary choices, free text or exact quantities to this analytics dataset; it does not create a visitor/session ID; and it does not store IP addresses, user-agent strings or referrer URLs in the analytics dataset.
Purpose: help RecipeWanted/QHE decide which free tools, workflows, supporting content and first-party integrations to improve next. Aggregate statistics may be reviewed internally across QHE only for that same RecipeWanted service-improvement purpose. They are not sold and are not used by this layer for advertising measurement, cross-site tracking or individual profiling. Free access is not conditional on this measurement: opting out does not disable or reduce any Resource tool.
Allowed counters include 5-second qualified views, 30 seconds of visible engagement, 50%/90% read depth, first working-surface use, selected non-commercial feature/export/continuity actions, hub task choices, broad allowlisted workflow/build-shape buckets and RecipeWanted internal/ecosystem handoffs. Counts are merged directly into UTC daily buckets and retained for up to 730 days under the current admin setting. The only browser preference this layer writes is the first-party objection cookie after you choose to opt out; removing the objection deletes that preference. This describes the Resources aggregate dataset only; ordinary hosting, security, caching, firewall, consent-management or server-log systems remain governed separately by RecipeWanted’s wider privacy/CMP arrangements.
